Frequently asked questions
We're based in Newport and work across Cardiff, Newport and South East Wales. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, just get in touch.
It's a free, no-obligation 30-minute consultation, either as a home visit or a video call. We'll talk through how you live, what you'd like to change and what happens next.
Every project is priced individually. After your free consultation, we'll send you a clear, itemised written quote, so you know exactly what's included before any work begins. All prices we quote include VAT.
Yes. We supply, fit and finish, using materials chosen to last from suppliers we trust. Cabinetry and joinery are made for your home and fitted by our own team.
One team, from first visit to finished room, with no hand-offs. Iolo Humphries, Projects & Operations Director, and Jason Awatar, Commercial Director, are your contacts throughout, and Dylan Humphries, Head Joiner, leads the joinery.
Every project is different, so we'll give you a planned start date and timescale before work begins. We'll keep you updated as we go, and if something outside our control causes a delay, we'll agree a revised timetable with you.
We treat every home as if it were our own, with protected floors, tidy work areas and a clean finish every day. At handover we walk through the finished work with you, and every job is signed off with you before we call it finished.
We'll help you select materials and finishes as part of your quote, with stone, lighting and joinery chosen together so the room feels settled. Everything is agreed with you in writing before anything is ordered.
It depends on your home and the extension you have in mind, so we'll talk it through honestly at your consultation. Our work is carried out in line with relevant Building Regulations, and your quote will make clear whether we're arranging any permissions or whether they sit with you.
Where a deposit is required, the amount is set out in your written quote and is payable on acceptance to secure your start date and order materials. The balance is payable as set out in your quote, by bank transfer.
If your contract is agreed in your home or by phone or email, you may have a 14-day right to cancel, although made-to-measure items such as bespoke kitchens aren't covered once ordered with your agreement. If you need to move your start date, let us know as early as possible and we'll agree a new date with you. Full details are in our Cancellations & Refunds policy.
